 I am grateful for:

Hope

Primary Program

I am grateful for boys who did an amazing job at singing The Priesthood is Restored.  They were perfect.
I am grateful for a little boy who was the cutest part spoken in the programme.  He was the only one u see 7 who was willing to say his part and he was great.
I am thankful for a daughter who sang with me. She was excellent.

Baptism

I am thankful for many things right now.
1.  Zachary chose to be baptized.
2.  Kyle was worthy to baptize Zachary.
3.  The Lord helped me not be anxious during the baptism.

Little boys

I am grateful for:
1.  Two boys who did well at school today.  Green for behavior.
2.  Two boys who did not give me grief when their time on the computer was done.
3.  One little baby boy who let me maneuver him so he was sucking the right way on my hurt breast.  He was almost upside down.

Thanks

I am grateful for:
1.  Zachary and Eric both said "Thank-you" to Wendy when she gave them a cupcake, without prompting, and she said "You're welcome" again without prompting.
2.  Creating things, specifically a dress for Wendy.

Individual children

I am grateful for:
1.  warm weather to play outside
2.  Zachary getting greens this week.
3.  Eric having a great preschool Christmas program
4.  Hyrum sleeping all through the night
5.  Wendy's cheeses smile every time the camera comes out

Meals

I am grateful for
1.  A wonderful dinner last night.  Not the meal itself, but the interaction of my children and the lack of opportunities for frustration.
2.  The opportunity to eat with Zachary at school.  It is fun to see him there and to have all the children together.

I am grateful for:
1.  Color, particularly vibrant colors that I see daily.  It brings me joy.
2.  My boys doing such a great job in the primary program.

Maturity

I am grateful for maturity
1.  Zachary can be by himself at events (sometimes)
2.  Wendy has a great maturity in her speech and social abilities

Charlie, learning

I am grateful for:
1.  Zachary and Eric's quest for learning.
2.  Memories of Charlie.

Success

I am grateful for success
1.  Zachary is doing well in Kindergarten
2.  Eric was able to participate in the activity he wanted to at the carnival
3.  The laundry (all 6 loads) were completed and folded today.

Green

I am grateful for the color green!!
1.  It is the color of life.
2.  Zachary and Eric have been earning them lately.

The V's = Volunteering and Visiting Teaching

I am grateful for
1.  The opportunity to read to Zachary's class.
2.  Visiting Teaching, particularly Ashley Asay and her devotion to the gospel.

Everyone is doing well

It has again been too long.  I have many things to be grateful for.
1.  A little boy who is healthy and can move (Hyrum)
2.  A little boy whose teacher says he is doing much better (Zachary)
3.  A little girl who is showing interest in potty training even if she really doesn't get the whole concept yet (Wendy)
4.  A husband who really wants to make me happy (Kyle)
5.  A little boy who plays well with others (Eric)
6.  A new hair cut

I am grateful for...
1. Being more relaxed with Zachary's schooling. For some reason I now feel o-kay that he is not "perfect"
2. Kyle being home

School, and Sleep

I am grateful Zachary earned a green at school today.  He is so excited when he does well, and so am I.
I am grateful Eric had a good first day of preschool yesterday and seemed to enjoy himself.
I am grateful Wendy and Hyrum are sleeping right this second.

Journal

Well this blog is sometimes also a journal and that is what I need it to be today.  So first I am grateful for:
1.  The ability to write and express my feelings that way.
2.  Hugs, particularly from Zachary.

Now for what I am concerned about.  Zachary and school.  So both Friday and yesterday he was not able to play at recess due to not following directions and not keeping his hands to himself.  The past couple of mornings he has not wanted to attend school, but has said he wants to stay home with me.  I did not cry when I sent him to preschool, but this morning I did because he is struggling.  I so want him to succeed, and to be happy at school.  I pray that he will have a good day, and that Mrs Cunningham will not label him too quickly with always in trouble, but will take the time to discover how wonderful he is and help him develop his potential.  So there is a bit of what I am feeling.  Kyle grasped the situation last night so I am also grateful that he is there to comfort me and help me through this tough time as a mother.

P.S.  Zachary got a green today.  Which means his behavior was good. :)

Swimming!!!

I am grateful for
1.  my love of swimming
2.  not having to watch Zachary today while swimming,
3.  Eric wanting to swim out to me numerous times
4.  Wendy getting the hang of her water wings, and having plenty of other mothers willing to help
5.  Hyrum sleeping through much of play group, but when he was awake he liked the water.

Success and Shelter

I am grateful for
1. Zachary's hard work at swimming lessons and his success.
2.  Hyrum learning to roll over
3.  Shelter, both physical and spiritual.

Success

I am grateful for success:
1.  Zachary's at swimming lessons, he can swim all the way across now and knows it.
2.  Kyle's at work, he is becoming more comfortable with his situation here.  Yesterday he said he was grateful for a vacation that Kevin is taking.
