Flights and Book of Mormon

I am grateful for...

Having flights to the US.  It means the vacation is one step closer.

The Book of Mormon, Faith in God was today and we learned about the Book of Mormon.

Relaxing and Laundry Help

Today I am grateful for:

A relaxed day, no fighting, no appointments, just simple relaxing.

A washer and dryer.  My life would be hard without them.

Mommy

One every couple of weeks is better than over a year, right?

I am grateful for:
1.  Zachary and Eric's quest for learning.
2.  Memories of Charlie.

Holidays

We went for a walk yesterday and people were putting up Halloween decorations.  This is the start of a holiday season that just keeps getting bigger and better until the new year.  So I am grateful for. . .
1.  Halloween does not fall on a Sunday this year.
2.  Christmas tickets have been bought and we are spending over two weeks with family.

Home

We returned from a 2 week vacation to Idaho and Utah Monday.  This having been said I am grateful for...
1.  Our home here in Mississippi, to return to and be comfortable in.
2.  The home in which I was reared.  My parents are amazing.
3.  The home in which Kyle was reared.  His parents taught him so many important truths.

Fathers

Well it is Father's Day so naturally I will put some specifics that I am grateful for involving the fathers in my life.
1.  A husband who is wonderful with babies, he can often quiet Hyrum better than I can, what a blessing.
2.  A dad who supports me by always being excited to hear from me, know what is going on in my life and the lives of my husband and kids.

I am grateful for my parents. They have been here the last week and I am grateful for their support, love, and guidance.

1. Feeling good for being 38 weeks pregnant. I feel better this week :) and the baby is doing well.
2. Knowing my parents have their tickets to come in one week.

1. Blogs of family and friends. I love that I can keep in contact with people even when I am far away.
2. This gratitude blog, as I read back over entries I am reminded of how blessed I am.

Babies

Shanalee called this morning. . .
1. She had her baby early this morning 12:20am. He came 5 weeks early, but seems to be healthy and she is doing well. I am grateful for new little ones.
2. that means I am next on the schedule to deliver my little baby boy.

Neglect and Catch-up

I have neglected this blog for the past week. I think I need to concentrate on it more than ever with all the change that is happening. So what have I neglected to be grateful for here are a few.
1. Two offers on our home, even if they are over 10,000 dollars below our asking price.
2. A husband who is adjusting quite well to his new co-workers and position.
3. A mom who is always willing to talk and listen.
4. A place to stay.
5. Our vehicles arriving safely.
6. Being able to find a 3 room apartment that will take a short term lease.
7. Finding out that our storage costs are $60 less than estimated.
8. A ward that has been very welcoming.
9. Lots more in little things like breakfast, weather, boys who play together for a bit, reading, Wendy taking a nap, etc.

Parents

I am grateful for my parents:
1. They welcome us even when we are under the weather.
2. They not only want to help, but continually ask how.
3. They love me and my children no matter what.

Home

Last week we went to my parents. I am grateful for. .
1. A family that laughs with each other.
2. Safe travel, we had a flat tire and some snowy weather, but we made it safe both directions.
3. A play room, Zachary and Eric played nicely with one another and with their cousins.

Who

I am grateful for. . .
1. Children who take naps.
2. Family who enjoy one another's company.
3. A Preschool teacher who has patience with Zachary.

The Weekend

Why am I grateful for the weekend:
1. I got to see my parents and Tammie and Rob.
2. I got to spend alone time with the love of my life, Kyle.
3. The lesson in YW was on gratitude.
4. Sister Russon was called as the Mia Maid/Laural adviser.

The escape

Tonight my parents are staying with the kids and Kyle and I are going for a little birthday bash for Kyle. I am surprising him with reservations at the Providence Bed and Breakfast, and dinner at Hamilton's in Logan. I know he likes the area and hopefully on our drive we will see some autumn leaves. So this leads me to my gratefuls for today.
1. I am grateful for parents who are willing to be stuck with my kids all evening, night, and morning.
2. I am grateful for Kyle and the love we share.
3. I am grateful for people who provide good food, and accommodations.

I am grateful for:
1. A home, even though it may be a mess.
2. My parents and their willingness to welcome us always.

Wonderful Weekend!

Wow, this weekend was full of things that made me grateful so here comes the list.
1. Being in the temple with all my siblings and their spouses for Todd's wedding.
2. Having parents who willingly open their home to us.
3. The ability Zachary has to make friends with everyone, he made friends at the reception and camping.
4. Having Zachary cuddle with me last night before we went to bed; it has not happened in a long while.
5. Church being very near our campground, and feeling welcomed.
6. The sound of running water, our campsite was right next to the Cub River.
7. Eric and Zachary's desire to explore, play 'Pooh Sticks', hike, and watch the fire.
8. Warm sleeping bags and a warm husband.
9. All my children coming willingly to the car when I asked tonight, even though they did not want to.
10. Wendy not being hurt when she fell down the stairs.
11. Dancing with Kyle.
12. Finding out Shanalee will have a little one just 3 weeks before me.
13. Hiking up, up, up and seeing the whole valley and the beauty God made.
